There are sessions that stay with you—and then there are families who do. I’ve had the absolute joy of documenting so many milestones for the Flor family over the past couple of years, and welcoming baby Joseph (JoJo) for his newborn session was such a full-circle moment.

There’s something about the late summer light in Montana that makes every session feel magical. For the French family, it was the perfect backdrop for a beautiful evening filled with love, joy, and gratitude. This last minute photo session with the Crawford family ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. When I learned that Justin, Jenna, and baby Gabe had not had any photos taken together since Gabe was born, I knew we had to fit them in.

This precious little guy was an absolute rockstar for his newborn session! The timing worked out perfectly to where he was a week old when I was back in Massachusetts visiting family and I’m so glad that I was able to squeeze this precious session in before coming back home to Montana.

I’m obsessed with everything about baby Peter’s newborn session at home in Missoula. After photographing the Liddell family back in December, I knew that this session would be one of my favorites, but I did not anticipate falling in love with sweet Peter’s full cheeks and chubby fingers quite as much as I did!
