Picture this: the glow of a late-summer Missoula sunset, the shimmer of the Clark Fork River, and two people so in love that they didn’t hesitate when I suggested something a little outside the box. That’s when photography goes from posed to unforgettable, when a couple leans into the moment and lets love carry the story.

Your wedding day might have been filled with hundreds, maybe even thousands, of photos, but there’s something uniquely special about capturing your honeymoon. It’s the first time you and your partner get to exhale after all the planning, the celebrations, and the whirlwind of your wedding. And if you’ve chosen Hawaii as your destination, your honeymoon photos won’t just be pictures, they’ll become timeless works of art that capture your love in one of the most breathtaking places on earth.

But something pulled us in that direction, and I’m so glad it did.

When the light is just right and two people are head-over-heels in love, magic happens—and Esme and Parker’s engagement session down by the river in Missoula, Montana was pure magic from start to finish. As a Missoula Montana engagement photographer, I live for evenings like this: soft golden light, warm summer air, and a love story that feels as joyful as the sunlight dancing off the water.

When a friend asks you to document something this special, the answer is always yes. Even though I don’t typically offer graduation sessions, photographing Kennedy’s Missoula grad session was an absolute joy from beginning to end. We met through church, and I’ve loved getting to know her heart over the years — so being able […]
