Hi there, I'm Kira!
I'm a wedding and family photographer based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Though I'm an American, I grew up in West Africa, far from my extended family. Despite the distance, I forged deep connections with my loved ones through the art of photography. Receiving my first point-and-shoot camera on my tenth birthday sparked a passion that eventually led me to study photography in Montana after high school where I ended up meeting my future husband and sticking around. Now I get to spend my time creating art for so many beautiful souls. Each photo I take strives to document the true essence of a moment, turning fleeting seconds into lasting memories. With an eye for detail and a love for authentic storytelling, I’m dedicated to preserving your unique journey for generations.

There's nothing better than a warm, sunny day and feeling the ground under my feet. Even in the wintertime, socks are a struggle for me.
Plants
Is my entire apartment basically a greenhouse? Yes, but at least our air is clean!

Booking from out of state was so stressful! Let alone any type of photographer! I reached out one day and I’m so grateful I did!! Kira Rideout photography is 10/10! She goes the extra mile getting to know you as a couple, getting all the best angles making you feel the best!
