Nestled among the sweeping mountain vistas of the Western Montana landscape, the day began with quiet anticipation and a whole lot of joy. At the idyllic Teller Wildlife Refuge near Corvallis, Ellie and Liam LeCoure celebrated their love surrounded by nature, laughter, and the support of their closest friends and family.

The day opened with the gentlemen, Liam and his groomsmen, gathering in easy camaraderie. Warm laughter, the slight hum of nerves, and the careful final touches of preparation set the tone: the kind of morning that inspires anticipation and comfort all at once. Meanwhile, Ellie and her brilliant bridal party were everywhere: supportive, radiant, and entirely committed to making her day shine. These friends were the dream team, helping with the dress, with hair, with nerves, with all things in between, and their devotion showed in every moment.

When it came to attire, Ellie looked absolutely stunning. Her gown came from Velvet Bride in downtown Missoula, an amazing boutique with a curated bridal collection. The dress complemented the setting so well: the elegance of the silhouette, the natural flow of the fabric, the way it caught the breeze — it all felt right for Montana and for this couple.
And speaking of catching the breeze: the florals. From Bleeding Heart Flower Farm in the Bitterroot Valley came the lush arrangements that framed the day. With soft blues and natural tones, local, seasonal blooms offered both beauty and a sense of place. These had to have been my favorite florals of the 2025 season!

Before the ceremony, we captured the contrast of the two sides of the day: Liam and his crew getting ready, the groom in his element, then the bride and her girls — full of energy, joy, and that certain kind of togetherness only a true bridal party brings. After a flurry of color, laughter, and shared moments, we moved into bridesmaid photos and family portraits, giving each group the space and time to settle in, breathe, and smile into the camera (and into the day ahead).

The ceremony took place under open skies, the wind dancing invisibly across the landscape, the mountains standing firm and silent in the background. A white-rose backdrop framed the vows, lending a clean, timeless elegance that let the mountains speak as loudly as the décor. Ellie’s veil caught in the breeze and moved as if in a gentle dance, her gaze locked with Liam’s, and the world seemed to pause. Emotion was everywhere — from the slight quiver of a voice, to the tear at the corner of someone’s eye. No one had a dry one.

As the ceremony concluded, the newly-married couple made their way back down the aisle amid cheers and hugs. Then — the bridal party photos: fun, vibrant, joyful. These are the folks who lifted Ellie up (literally and figuratively) all day long. And they were up for the fun: teasing, cheering, and gathering around the couple with all the love in the room.

When I tell you these two could have been model, believe me! Their couples photos were filled with intimate moments, sweet touches and gentle looks. Even after working on their gallery for quite some time, I still get excited to look at the photos of these two.

The reception entrance was full of life. Laughter, hugs, happy tears. Dinner was catered by Famous Dave’s Catering — yes, that famous BBQ—and it was a fantastic choice. With hand-rubbed smoked meats, hearty sides, and a relaxed vibe, the food matched the spirit of the day: delicious, approachable, memorable.
For the sweet finale, the cake came from Bernice’s Bakery. The DJ, Chris Baumann, guided the evening with music and speeches, each moment flowing seamlessly into the next. A standout moment: Liam’s dad delivered the funniest speech in the room — smart, heartfelt, laughter-filled — and the crowd absolutely loved it.

Before the night really set in, we stole a moment with Ellie and Liam for a few more couples portraits. The light was soft, the landscape dramatic, the mood intimate. Ellie in her dress, Liam beside her — you could feel the connection. The imagery is still echoing in my editing suite: stately, elegant, soul-full. These images will shine for years. Ellie did her own makeup — and wow — she knocked it out of the park. Natural, confident, exactly her. I asked for a lesson (seriously). She made it look effortless.

After dinner and speeches and cake, the dancing began. The energy rose. Family and friends circled, celebrated, rejoiced in the union of these two, in this place, in this moment. When it was time to say goodbye, I know the rest of the night carried on beautifully — full of laughter, warmth, and celebration into the Montana evening.
