Lifestyle Newborn Photos in Missoula, Montana | Baby Peter

I’m obsessed with everything about baby Peter’s newborn session at home in Missoula. After photographing the Liddell family back in December, I knew that this session would be one of my favorites, but I did not anticipate falling in love with sweet Peter’s full cheeks and chubby fingers quite as much as I did! He was the perfect model, sleeping through his entire session and letting us move him around as needed. I couldn’t have asked for a better subject!

Aubrey chose the cutest little outfits for herself and her family and I am so in love with the colors she picked! Blues and browns have my whole heart right now and really did the most to compliment these sweet faces. Their home in the heart of Missoula, Montana is decorated perfectly to compliment these colors and really let their faces steal the show!

One of my favorite parts about this session was when Peter’s older sisters joined me in photographing him. I love encouraging budding artists, so when Jane came out with her purple digital kids camera, I about melted! She and Everly took turns snapping shots of their parents and brothers over my shoulder like the proud big sisters they are. I always try my best to make cameras feel fun and exciting to littles rather than being something scary to shy away from, and these girls were enamored with the entire process!

The girls weren’t the only ones in love with their baby brother though! Two year old Judah couldn’t stop sneaking in a little kiss or hug for baby Peter every chance he got. The little glimmer of pride in his eyes was the sweetest thing to witness. He is already the best big brother and I’m excited to see the bond that these kids continue to share as they grow!
